Partner Dustin R. Burrows Named to Texas Rising Stars List
Corporate defense attorney Dustin R. Burrows, a partner in Lubbock’s McCleskey, Harriger, Brazill & Graf LLP, has been named to the 2013 Texas Rising Stars list of the state’s outstanding young attorneys.
Mr. Burrows’ practice is primarily focused on commercial and personal injury litigation defense. He has extensive experience in construction law cases, including representing owners, contractors, sub-contractors and sureties in a wide array of contract and litigation matters.
He earned his law degree from Texas Tech University School of Law and his M.B.A. from Texas Tech University, both in 2004, and his B.A. from Rhodes College in 2001.
“Dustin is an extraordinary lawyer and well-deserving of this honor,” says Jerry M. Kolander Jr., Managing Partner of The McCleskey Law Firm. “He has skills and courtroom instincts far beyond his years. This is a significant achievement in what we’re sure will be a long, extremely successful career.”
To create the Texas Rising Stars list, the publication solicits nominations of attorneys who are under age 40 or who have been practicing for no more than 10 years. Nominators must have personally observed the nominee in action, whether as opposing counsel or co-counsel, or through firsthand courtroom observation. Texas Rising Stars’ attorney-led research team evaluates the nominees and finalizes the list, which includes less than 2.5 percent of eligible Texas lawyers each year.
The complete list will be published in the April issues ofTexas Monthly and Texas Rising Stars magazines, and appears online at www.superlawyers.com.
