Garrett was raised in Pampa, Texas on his family farm. In 2014 he graduated from Texas Tech University magna cum laude with a degree in agricultural communications with minors in political science and agribusiness. Three years later he graduated magna cum laude from the Texas Tech University School of Law. While at Texas Tech Garrett participated in various organizations and associations, and worked on the Farm Bill in Washington D.C. as part of the Texas Tech University Congressional Internship Program.
Garrett has been licensed to practice law since 2017. His areas of practice include: agriculture; business formation and transactions; commercial and civil litigation; energy law; probate and estate planning; and real estate.
Garrett is a member of First Baptist Church; loves reading, photography, and tennis; and participates in local events and organizations that promote and support the City of Lubbock and the Texas South Plains and Panhandle.
