Firm history
As one of the oldest and largest law firms in Lubbock and West Texas, MHGB prides itself on its heritage and contributions to this region. Founded in 1928 in Tahoka, Texas by Garrett Hobert Nelson, who later became senator of the 31st Senatorial District, MHBG has served the needs of West Texas for over 80 years.
The firm’s full service legal practice in most areas of the law allows for the consummate representation of its clients.
Today, firm members continue on with its founder’s leadership vision. Our attorneys and staff are actively involved as members in the following:
